It's easy to just do things because you are "supposed" to do them. But have you ever asked yourself, "What's the Point?"This January, we'll ask that about church. What IS the point of our church family? Why do we gather? What are we to do? All these questions will be answered as we study three words: "Worship" "Witness" and "Work"
For our Family Sunday Series this year, generally on the first Sunday of each month, we will be walking through the prayer that Jesus taught us, commonly known as "The Lord's Prayer."
With it being our Family Sunday Series, the kids will not only be in the service with us during sermon, but will help Pastor with the message as well.
Remembering what Jesus did for us on the cross and truly appreciating the love and sacrifice He extended on our behalf, requires us to stop and take a moment to reflect on our own lives. This Lent (the weeks leading up to Easter) we will talk about "Humility", "Prayer", "Fasting", and "Alms Giving".
Words are so much more powerful than we give them credit for. God used words to literally speak this world into existence and He teaches us in the Bible, (His Word) to use them carefully.
Join us this Spring as we talk about speaking life through our words and see how Jesus is wanted us to speak.
In our October series, we will look back on some of the great heroes of the church. People like John & Charles Wesley, John Calvin, George Whitefield, and Martin Luther; men whose faith and action left a great legacy for us all.
